Delivery & Return Policy
Standard
For mainland UK we deliver 5 days a week - Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays and public holidays. Usually delivery times are between 8.00am - 6.00pm. We aim to deliver within 3 working days following the date your order is processed, however our general time given for delivery is 5 working days. If for any reason this is not possible we will contact you and offer the alternatives.
A signature is required on delivery. If you are not in when our couriers first try to deliver they will leave a calling card and take your order back. A further deliver attempt will be made however if they are still unable to deliver the parcel, it will be held at your local Post Office or delivery deport of which you will be advised on the card left by the couriers. This will be held at the Post Office for a further 2 weeks after which time it will be return to us.
You will be able to track your missed delivery by logging on to 'www.parcelforce.com' or 'www.postoffice.co.uk' dependent on which service we have used to post your item, than placing your house number and postcode or the parcel number which would have been provided to you on the card left by our courier.
Further re-deliveries may incur a further postal charge.
UK DELIVERY STANDARD: within 3 - 5 days £4.50
SPECIAL DELIVERY : 1 - 2 days * £6.90
* Guaranteed delivery to most UK addresses within 2 working days (not including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).
Scottish Highlands, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Sicily incurs an additional surcharge of £10.50.
Customized items selected for special delivery will be delieverd after it is received in our warehouse, there are no quaranteed time period's for customized items as this is dependent on number of external factors which are outside of our control SPECIAL EXPRESS DELIVERY
If you require your order urgently or at a specific time we are able to offer special times for delivery as detailed below:
Delivery before 9.00am (Mon-Fri) £24.50

Saturday Delivery £24.50 - Mainland England Only (Friday orders only)

RETURNS
Your complete shopping satisfaction is our Priority. We want you happy each and every time you buy from us. However if due to some unforeseen situation you are not happy with the product then the following terms apply for a mutually consented resolution of the situation.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you must contact us within 24 hours at returns@designerindian.co.uk explaining why you wish to return or exchange the item. You will then receive an email within 24 hours with a unique Returns Authorisation Code and instructions on how to proceed. Please do not return the item until you have received this email and your Returns Authorisation Code from DesignerIndian.co.uk.
There is an admin surcharge of £5.50 for exchange items on top of delivery charges.
We will replace or refund most items provided they are returned complete unused and in their original packaging with any appropriate labels and tags intact within 7 days of receipt.
You must take reasonable care of the goods and immediately return them to us in the normal way. We will not consider that you have taken reasonable care of the goods if they have been used in a way or to an extent beyond what would be reasonable when examining the goods in a shop before purchase. *Note: All products are checked thoroughly before dispatch. Please take care when trying on items of clothing and please ensure that you are not wearing make-up, perfume or a deodorant, which may leave marks or a scent on the item. We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed.
Please ensure items are adequately packaged and labelled and your completed returns form is enclosed with the return code provided by us.
We cannot accept liability of items until they have been received by our offices; therefore you need to ensure that you get the proof of posting and adequate insurance to cover the value of returned goods.
Postage & Packing costs are non-refundable unless your statutory rights apply. We are not responsible for the items that do not reach us therefore please ask the Post Office for a free Certificate of Postage.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ITEMS, CUSTOMISED PURCHASES ARE EXEMPT FROM THE RETURNS/REFUND POLICY AND AS SUCH EXEMPT FROM THE DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS ACT 2000, HOWEVER YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS ARE UNAFFECTED. REFUNDS
Refunds will be processed within 28 days of receipt of returns. In keeping with our fraud prevention measures refunds will only be issued in the same form as payments hence we will only refund to the same credit/debit card used to make the purchase.
Unacceptable Returns
Cosmetics, Hair Accessories or Pierced Jewellery items will be neither exchanged nor refunded due to current Health & Hygiene regulations
If you return an item to us outside the terms of our returns policy and your statutory rights do not apply we may not refund you. The item may be returned back to you at your expense. You will be notified of this and other associated charges. If you send the item back to us again or refuse to accept delivery this will be deemed to be an irreversible instruction for us to dispose of your goods without further notice.
Please note: Disposal will not constitute any admission on our part that we have failed in any way to honour our obligations to you in full and will not constitute any unlawful action against the goods.
Missing Items / Damaged goods
If any product we supply fails prematurely due to an inherent fault we will provide you with an appropriate remedy e.g. refund replacement or repair. Simply email us at customersupport@designerindian.co.uk. No decisions can be made regarding the item until the goods are received by our returns department. No claim for short delivery of goods or goods damaged in transit can be entertained unless notification of the shortage or damage is given to us within 3 days of the date of receipt of the goods.
Refunds will not be given for products that have been damaged whilst in the care of the customer due to misuse or neglect.
